Our 11 month old spaniel Rocket adores her, and we’ve learned so much. Her love for dogs is clear. Her approach is holistic, bringing together a dog’s mental physical, and emotional behaviours. She also understands different breeds and tailors her training to each dog individually, given their disposition, age, and environment. During our first session, she watched Rocket engage with us & other dogs, and her observations & suggestions were insightful & made a lot of sense. I love her dualfold training principle to help Rocket manage his impulses — whether pulling on lead or pursing other dogs — with other activities or mental exercises, which in turn connects him with us & helps our communication with him. In a few months he’s grown up so much! I understand him better & he‘s quicker to respond to me. He seems calmer, happier, and in control of himself. He’s a joy & a lot of that we owe to Maya. She has been working with Luna - our bernedoodle - since she was 5 months. Luna is now 10 months. Maya has taught her (and us) to be polite around other dogs, not to jump, how to walk correctly, recall and many other things. Maya has never been late - and she sends messages, photos and videos after their walk and training. Most of all Luna gets so very excited when she sees her -the sign of a very happy dog!
